Frontier December Camp Information

Frontier Drum and Bugle Corps is holding its December rehearsal December 16, 2006 at The Colony High School, which is located at 4301 Blair Oaks Dr, The Colony, TX. Rehearsal is scheduled to run from 9 AM to 7 PM.

All sections are rehearsing (brass, percussion, and guard) this Saturday. The corps will begin work on its 2007 field production entitled “1968.” Musical selections and inspirations for the show include Age of Aquarius from Hair, Music for Prague: 1968, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Spinning Wheel, Bridge Over Troubled Water, and Born to Be Wild.

A camp fee of $25 will be collected during registration that is applied to 2007 dues. All members will have the opportunity to purchase bibbers for the new uniforms beginning with this rehearsal. Auditions will be continuing at this rehearsal for all sections.

While the full corps has not met since Open House in November many members from all sections were featured performers with the Turtle Creek Chorale in their Christmas concert series. One more performance is scheduled for Sunday, December 17. This performance experience produced terrific results, recruiting leads and the opportunity to keep members in playing shape and prepared for a strong season.

Come join Frontier for an exciting season. Be sure to visit the corps website http://www.frontiercorps.org to register for the camp and for a link to a map of the rehearsal site. You may email corps director Chris Green at director [at] frontiercorps [dot] org for answers to further questions.
