Rochester Crusaders Newest Addition

| |

The Rochester Crusaders are pleased to announce the addition of Mark Stoughton to the staff as the corps physical trainer.

With the increased amount of movement and the demand that the Drum And Bugle Corps activity places on its membership, there comes the higher risk of injury. Mark will work closely with the membership, staff and support team to ensure the health and wellness of each and every musical athlete involved with our corps.

Mark Stoughton graduated from the State University on NY at Brockport with a Health Science/Sports Medicine Degree in 1989. He is an NATA certified athletic trainer and has worked with NY Mets and Minnesota Twins organizations. He was the Head Athletic Trainer for the Hilton, NY school district and most recently Head Athletic Trainer for Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY.

Mr. Stoughton has worked with athletes in various summer sports camps held at Rochester, NY area colleges.

Mark currently resides in Brockport with his wife, Patty and daughters Allyson and Mary.

His drum corps experience includes the Vagabonds of Fort Edward NY in the early 80’s.

Welcome to the family Mark!

With our design team and staff already hard at work, 2007 should prove to be the next step in our Crusade to be amongst the best DCA has to offer.

The Rochester Crusaders Senior Drum and Bugle Corps is a 501c3 non-profit musical, visual and educational organization, which provides quality instruction that focuses on a musical and visual program that is both artistically and technically challenging. While being a competitive unit which travels all over the Northeast, we strive to bring the Rochester community closer to the unique activity of Drum and Bugle Corps, which we perceive as an art form. The Crusaders also strive to keep the spirit of competition and the camaraderie throughout the Drum Corps community.

The Excitement is building for the 60th anniversary edition of the "CRU" and lots of surprises are in store for everyone!
