In The News: Huber Joins Drum And Bugle Corps

Prairie Central High School student Corbin Huber will be a member of the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps, of Lacrosse, Wis., and will spend his summer practicing and performing throughout the country.

Huber started this process in November preparing audition music. He tried out for two corps and selected the Blue Stars because he "liked their staff and music selections," a press release said. He has spent one weekend a month practicing the basics and music with the corps. He was to move in with the corps today, Saturday, and finish at DCI Championships the weekend of Aug. 9.

Drum Corps International has developed into a powerful, non-profit, youth organization with far-reaching artistic, educational and organizational influence for over three decades, the release said.
