Schools Needed To Host Corps In Pa., New Jersey

As they travel the country with Drum Corps International’s Summer Music Games Tour, the Cadets, Carolina Crown, Crossmen and the other corps don’t stay overnight in hotels. Actually, they are hosted by area high schools, the students of which get to have the best marching music groups in the world right in their own school. During the approximately 14-16 hours at the school, members of the host band meet the corps members, sit in on the rehearsal, and attend the drum corps show in the evening to cheer for “their” adopted corps.

Drum corps rely on the hospitality of their host schools to make their summer tour possible. The Cadets could not bring these outstanding groups to the area without the hospitality of these generous schools. Indeed, there would be no Summer Music Games.
