 After surviving a tragic car accident which killed fellow color guard member Bianca Vocke, 20-year-old Erin Reichle has returned to perform as a member of the 2008 Colts this summer. In today's Field Pass, Dan Potter and correspondent Mike Ferlazzo of Drum Corps World have Erin's story.

 Drum Majors Santiago Sabado and David Mori will lead the Mandarins onto the field this season.
Santiago is a Sacramento native and graduate of Ponderosa High School. This is his third season with the Mandarins, his second as drum major after his first season in the trumpet line. Santiago is currently a student at Sacramento State University pursuing a degree in Music and has performed with such on campus groups including the Sacramento State Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, Marching Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Brass Ensemble.

Dan Potter headed south to check out the Crossmen rehearsal camp over the weekend. He'll have full coverge from San Antonio on the Wednesday and Thursday editions of Field Pass.
Today, a visit to the Field Pass vault for a classic conversation with DCI Hall of Famers Wayne Downey, Marc Sylvester, George Hopkins, Jeff Fiedler and David Gibbs about the greatest performances of all time that have influenced their way of thinking and their overall perspectives on the drum corps activity.

Just go to the DCA Home Page at http://www.dcacorps.org and click on the championship logo. Then, click on the I&E link. Once there you can download all the necessary information.
