Crossmen Move To San Antonio Print

After a series of discussions, Youth Education in the Arts (YEA!) announced on September 21, 2006 they will be fielding the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps through a new management team located in San Antonio, Texas beginning with the 2007 season.

Acheson To Attend DCE Championships Print

Drum Corps Europe (DCE) Championships start this Saturday, Sept. 23, in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. More than 20 European corps from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and Belgium are scheduled to perform in the one-day event. More than 2,000 visitors from Europe, Indonesia and the United States are expected to attend.

Joint SCV/BD Fleet Day Huge Success Print

On Saturday, September 16, 2006 the Concord Blue Devils traveled with their vehicles to Santa Clara for a joint fleet cleaning and maintenance day at Vanguard hall. With Terry Maurer, who works with Concord and Santa Clara's fleet in the lead vehicle, they arrived precisely at 9:00 am. (We believe they were waiting around the corner so they could accomplish this. You've gotta know Terry.)

Raiders Seeking Bingo Volunteers Print

Now that the 2006 Drum Corps Season has concluded the Raiders of Wayne, NJ are looking for a few Bingo Volunteers for over the next few months. With the season over and members and family volunteers returning back home and to school, the corps is finding its Bingo Fundraising Project short just a “few” people.
