To cap off a successful event on June 22, including an afternoon stand-still concert by Blue Stars at the Holland Performing Arts Center, home of the Omaha Symphony Orchestra, the Omaha Summer Music Games DCI event had a visit from Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman and his wife Sally Ganem. Governor Heineman assisted in presenting awards, including a gold medal to the Cavaliers who won the event.

Beginning today June 29, the Boston Crusaders Board of Directors will match dollar for dollar every annual fund donation that we receive. This does not happen all the time, so now is the time to give! If you have already contributed to the 2006 Annual Fund, if you are able to make an additional donation of $100 to FUEL BAC, your entire 2006 total will be matched!

Under a beautiful blue sky Monday morning, the members awoke at the sports hall prepared for an ordinary day of drum corps rehearsal and an evening performance. Having transported the corps overseas, many things are far from what we'd call "ordinary" in drum corps. But with five days under their belt in this provincial French city, the corps has adjusted quite well with the local people, customs, and languages. Members and staff have had some time to check out life here in Saint Quentin a bit, as the French have also had the opportunity to check out life with the drum corps. Even some of the local kids keep popping in the corps hall to say "Hallo!" and pop back out. The more adventurous ones head towards the rehearsal field. |

When you hear a rumble of drumming thunder coming from Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Wednesday don't worry.
You didn't fall asleep to the sound of falling rain, pull a Rip Van Winkle and wake up in October.
That snare-popping rumble is the welcome return of Drums Across the Tri-State.
The flashy expo by six groups from the Drum Corps International takes place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the stadium.
