Vanguard Cadets Christen Tugboat Print

On July 14th, the Vanguard Cadets brass section was invited to perform at a Tug Boat Christening; a first for the Vanguard organization. AMNAV Maritime Services unveiled "Revolution"; the first in a series of high-powered tugs.

Sarah's Story: Snaring A Win Print

In Step With Family Tradition Print

Nicole Anthony and Melissa Castor are following in a parent’s marching footsteps.

They are among several second-generation members of the La Crosse Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps.

Anthony is in her fourth year with the Blue Stars’ color guard, while brother Tyler is marching in the corps’ horn line for a fifth year. Their mother, Robin, was in the color guard in the 1980s.

Famed Drum Corps To Play Print

New Iberia Senior High School will host the Concord Blue Devils, a 100-plus member drum corps, who will be rehearsing on the NIHS practice fields during the day Monday and will perform before leaving Monday afternoon.
