 The Crusaders family mourns the loss of Robert P. Holland of Quincy, MA. Bob lost his battle with cancer on July 17. He was a lifelong BAC fan, and introduced his family to our organization. Bob's three sons marched with the corps through the 80s and 90s, and went on to teach not only Boston, but other corps in the DCI community.

 Drum Corps International is coming to San Antonio’s Alamodome this Saturday, and it’s bringing along the Season Pass. Season Pass members will have the opportunity to see live streaming video from the show.

 About 10:20 AM central time, the O-4 BD bus got into an accident about two hours north of Dallas as it entered a construction zone. It collided at 10-15 mph with a non-BD semi that stopped suddenly. There were several minor injuries that may receive medical attention as a precaution. There was only minor damage to the bus. We now have a replacement bus and are back on the road.

 The Santa Clara Vanguard is currently taking applications to fill the position of Membership Director. The primary role of the Membership Director is to process applications, welcome and mentor new members, manage the membership database, and recruit, train and schedule members as volunteers for the Santa Clara Vanguard Booster Club as needed.

On Saturday night in Battle Creek, about 2,000 "band geeks" took C.W. Post Field at Battle Creek Central High School in the 90-degree heat.
And, man, were they cool.
