Drum Corps Competition In Siloam Springs Print

A Drum Corps International competition will be held July 26 at Glenn Black Stadium, 1500 W. Jefferson St.

Seven drum corps from as far away as California, Colorado, Massachusetts and Ohio will compete in the fifth annual event, which is coordinated by the Siloam Springs High School Band Booster Club.

Volunteers Needed For East Coast Classic Print

With the 2006 East Coast Classic just around the corner, we are looking for volunteers to help us make this year's show the most successful ever. The show is on August 2nd, most of the volunteer positions would require that you to be at the show around 5:30PM.

With a little creative problem-solving and a nod to the history of "old-time" New Jersey drum corps, new bleacher construction delays won't dampen the spirits of loyal attendees at Saturday night's "Sounds of the Surf Summer Classic" drum and bugle corps competition at Wildwood, NJ's historic Maxwell Field.

Marching Off To Battle Print

They practiced in parking lots. In front of Viale Florist. Across from Holy Family Church and next to Berkshire Medical Center. On any flat surface they could find, young people dressed in regal band regalia marched on concrete and sounded strident drum snaps and blaring brass calls as they readied for competition.

Augustan Is Member Of Top-Level Drum Corps Print

For the first time since 1997, Augusta will once again play host to one of the top drum and bugle corps in the world. Only this time, there's a twist; an Augusta High School student is a member of this top-level Drum Corps International (DCI) group.
