The Uniform Fund was established in 2002 to ensure that funds would be available to outfit the corps in its traditional “Red & Black” on a continuing basis. All monies donated to the Uniform Fund are used expressly to purchase and maintain uniform parts, and are under my total control.

Music City Legend, Tennessee’s first and only “allage” drum and bugle corps, will hold a public rehearsal, followed by a full performance of portions of their 2006 competitive repertoire on Sunday, April 9th, in the band shell at Centennial Park. The rehearsal begins at 11:00 AM. The performances, which will showcase all elements of the organization – percussion, brass, and colorguard – will begin at about 2:15 PM and will be the culmination of the corps’ regular Saturday’s rehearsal at Goodpasture Christian Academy in Madison and the morning session in the park.
This will be Music City Legend’s first public performance of the year. Founded in the fall of 2003, Music City Legend is preparing for its third full season of operation and has grown in size and competitive stature. As a “mini-corps” with 21 members in 2004, “MCL” placed fifth at the Drum Corps Associates World Championship in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Successful efforts in recruiting allowed the corps to advance to “Class A” field competition with nearly 60 members, placing fourth at last year’s championship, where the corps’ garnered an award as the best brass line in the nation. Another growth spurt this past winter appears to have bumped them up over the 65 member “Class A” limit, and the corps is poised to move into “Open Class” competition, the largest category among “all-age” corps. |

It is the "Unity" of the hearts, minds & spirits of all those who have come together to form the "Crossmen Family".....and the simple faith & knowledge that when a group of people come together to work towards a common goal, and give it everything they have, there is nothing that is impossible to them!
