The corps that brought you Kill Bill Volume I & II and Star Trek has gone all out for 2008. We are proud present “We Will Rock You”, the music selections of Queen from the musical “We Will Rock You”. As usual SoCal Dream design team has taken steps beyond the typical boundaries of drum corps to bring the fans very exciting show.
Our production opens up with “Show Must Go On” & “Death On Two Legs”. For the second piece “Somebody to Love” & Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, Should give our fans something to hum to when leaving the stadium. |

On Saturday, December 1st, past and future Fusion-ites converged on Rahway High School for only the 2nd Open House in the corps' short history. The weather was chilly, but what was going on inside the school was certainly HOT enough to get the ol' drum corps juices flowing!
The day began with registration and a great lunch provided by Fusion supporters. Returning veteran members and staff, both old and new, made their way around introducing themselves and getting to know all of the new folks coming in the door. With full bellies and building anticipation, everyone made their way into the auditorium to officially kick off the 08 season.

The Connecticut Hurricanes have loaded the wagons and are heading west for the 2008 DCA campaign. Show Coordinator, Jim Dugan, announced at yesterday's open house that the Hurcs are going west and will expand on a show concept idea used back in 1999 which until this day is still talked about as one of the most entertaining shows performed in DCA.

Rochester’s Empire Statesmen will celebrate their 25th anniversary season in 2008 with highlights of the three main musical themes that have defined the corps’ contest routines since 1983: songs from the Big Band era, selections from some of the most popular shows to every appear on Broadway, and patriotic salutes to the men and women of the armed services.
The title of the 2008 production is West Side Statesmen Story, Our Way. |

Imagine a place where the chart-topping stars are brass players, dance is a way of life, and folk singing tells the stories of the old world. Imagine a place where crossing genres is the norm and where it is routine for brass repertoires to be assimilated into different traditions. Imagine a place where you can't quite figure out where the music comes from, because it comes from everywhere, but you know it makes you want to dance or sing or play along.
That place exists today, and The Bushwackers will take you there in 2008. |
