The defending Drum Corps Associates world champion Reading Buccaneers Drum & Bugle Corps today announced that the trio of Josh Decker, Chuck Jacobs and Charlie DiCarne will provide leadership to the corps on the field and off for the 2008 season.
Lead drum major Josh Decker, 30, returns to the Buccaneers for his eighth consecutive season on the podium. A resident of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, Decker holds Bachelor of Science in Music Education and Master of Music in Music Education degrees, with concentrations in saxophone and conducting, from West Chester University. |

The New York Skyliners are excited to announce that, due to demand, we have made arrangements with our vendor to allow us to sell Beefsteak Dinner tickets for a few more days. They push in their earplugs. A goose-bump-raising rat-a-tat jumps off the snare drums. The bass drums join in and the sound thumps against your chest. The highs and lows of the horn section round out the sound.
The Emmaus Sentinels have got their beat back.
After a 31-year break, the hometown drum and bugle corps is together again, and getting ready for a parade to fete Emmaus' 250th and 150th anniversaries next year.
