Spirit Of Coventry Announces 2008 Program Print

The Spirit of Coventry are proud to announce their Show details for the 2008 season A Night at the West End, which will see them in their first year of competition.

Opener, I Dreamed a Dream from the Hit Musical, Les Miserables
Taken from this fantastic musical written by Cameron Mackintosh, the Corps will embark on a melodic pit opening building into a large Ensemble hit hopefully backing a massive impact hit with the use of large silks from the very beginning culminating with a powerful choral ending.

Senators Announce 2008 Program Print

The Senators Drum and Bugle Corps from Eastleigh Hampshire are pleased to announce that the Corps will be performing “The Seven Deadly Sins” as their 2008 Summer Season production.

The 2007 DCE European Champion will once again excite audiences both in the UK and in mainland Europe with a show full of variety and originality, Craig Sherratt Visual Designer for the Senators commented.

Beatrix 2008 USA Tour Official Print

Finally we can say that it’s definite that Beatrix will travel to the US this summer. The plane tickets are booked, which was the one remaining obstacle for the organization of the tour. Now that we’ve got that out of the way we can gladly say that the corps will be making the travel across the ocean to take part in the DCI Summer Music Games.

Everything in live is getting more and more expensive. This caused some major struggles for the organization to again arrange a great tour for the corps. This upcoming tour will be a little harder on the members and staff compared to the last few tours. Not because we will be rehearsing more then ever, but mainly because the corps needs to travel more.

DCE UK Power Regional Website Launched Print

It is now possible to register for the DCE Power Regional to be held in London next year on 21st June. A special section has been added to the DCE website containing detailed information on the Power Regional.

This is the first time that DCE is organizing a regional in the United Kingdom. This is being done in conjunction with BYBA and DCUK. The Power Regional offers European corps the opportunity to meet one another on the competition field in the run-up to the DCE European Championships.

All roads lead to the CPG Sports Complex this Saturday, November 24, as the 20th edition of the prestigious Alturas Drum & Bugle Corps Showdown brings together for one spectacular day the best drum corps in the region.

Billed as the greatest show in town, this year's showdown features eighteen contingents in a competition contested in three categories: Category A for more seasoned drum corps most of which are outside Bohol; and Category B and C for high school and elementary drum corps, respectively.

Listed in alphabetical order, the contingents in three categories are Category A: CVSCAFT-Tagbilaran City Campus; Don Vicente Rama Memorial High School, Cebu City; Mandaue City Comprehensive National High School; Pilgrim Christian College, Cagayan de Oro City; Saint Augustine Club, Carmen, Cebu; Salus Institute of Technology, Cebu City; Category B: Immaculata High School, Baclayon, Bohol; St. Agustine Institute, Sagbayan, Bohol; Tabuan National High School, Garcia-Hernandez, Bohol; and Category C: Cogon Elem. School, Tagb. City; Duero Central Elem. School; Loon North Central Elem. School; Loon South Central Elem. School and Tagb. City Central Elem. School.
