An amazing days entertainment saw the culmination of the British Youth Band Association’s Summer Season yesterday at the Butts Park Arena where record breaking crowds witnessed the results of a season longs hard work from each and every participating member.
A full show report, including photos from the day will follow very shortly, but our congratulations go out to every competing member, and especially to our newly crowned Champions for 2007. |

Revolution Show Corps are delighted to announce a brand new website. After months of design, ideas and tweaks, we now have the finished product. Our aim was to have a professional look whilst keeping it attractive to our target age range logging on and finding it of interest. With the internet being used more and more a large percentage of membership & booking enquires come through the website, so we wanted to create the right impression |

Following the Midlands show the corps has been active in their approach to the build up for Finals. The camp started under a dark cloud in Tewkesbury but within an hour we were rehearsing under clear skies with the temperatures experienced in summer. Good conditions set the camp up for success. Each section broke up to work on individual fields to start with and then came together to ensemble each piece of work. The visual package has been cleaned and a few adjustments have been made with some additional changes to enhance the finished programme. The final frame in the closer has now been added as well as additional silks in the ballad to give that final touch of colour.

Senators, DrumSpirit and Jong Jubal are the DCE champions of 2007. Thousands of drum corps enthusiasts enjoyed the climax of the European drum corps competition at Rotterdam's Sparta Stadium yesterday.
For the first time in history, the DCE Open Class title was won by a British corps. The Senators won the Prelims in the afternoon, and managed to maintain its lead position in the evening (90.05). Beatrix took silver in the end (89.40), after being overtaken by Jubal in the Prelims. Third place went to Jubal (88.95). |

BYBA are please to announce the 2007 edition of the Marching Boot Camp will take place on Saturday 3rd November, at Trinity Upper School in Nottingham. The format has been developed and the event will now be open to all marching members for Wind and Percussion.
The existing instructional team is returning but this year we are looking to expand. If you are an instructor with good experience in teaching marching and movement to either brass or percussion, and you have a real passion for this discipline then we want to hear from you ASAP! |
