DCE are pleased to announce that tickets are now available for the first ever DCE UK Power Regional. The event will be ran in conjunction with BYBA and DCUK at Crystal Palace Athletics Stadium, London on Saturday 21st June 2008 and features a strong line up of drum corps and showbands from across Europe.
Seating for spectators will be in the Jubilee Stand with a capacity of more than 2,000 seats, and ample car parking is available in the stadium car park free of charge.

Black Knights are creating a comprehensive database of members and supporters from it's 15 years history. The website has been updated with a form for Black Knights past and present to fill in and register their details.
The intention is to publish a list on the Black Knights' website of all those who have been involved with BK as well as it's parent organisations over the years as well as keeping registered people informed of updates of the corps current progress.

At the recent DCUK Directors College details were announced of the show venues for the 2008 season.
There will be 5 sanctioned shows which is an increase of two from 2007, one of which will be the DCE Power Regional on 21st June where the scores awarded at this show will count towards the 2008 DCUK seedings and also the re-introduction of a September show prior to the DCUK British Drum Corps Championships - which will be a week later than last year on Saturday 20th September and will be back at the Burton Albion Football Ground. |

Another Dutch corps has agreed to take part in the DCE Power Regional at the Crystal Palace Stadium in London, next June. Federatieband have announced that they will enter the Open Class. 14 corps have now registered for the European drum corps event.
Federatieband has been a successful competitor in the Drum Corps Netherlands and Drum Corps Europe circuits for many years. "We love performing at the DCE Championships and to meet so many British corps. Now it's our turn to cross the North Sea", said corps director Marcel Vrolijk from the Federatieband. "We're looking forward to a fantastic experience for our members."

InCorps has recently been awarded a contract extension and identified by Evans Drumheads as an important component to music education in Europe. Successfully demonstrating their importance as a platform for education in this region of the world, InCorps has built a reputation of quality involvement in the marching community through a variety of outreach programs which include clinics, design consultation, performance presentations, among other means. Co initiator Maurice Groen is looking forward to continuing to develop clinic events and product presentations for Evans Drumheads in Europe. "We're really excited to continue the strong partnership that InCorps has with Evans Drumheads.” New products, like the all new hybrid series, are really great and will have a positive effect on the European drumlines".
