Trinity High School in Nottingham was the venue for the first ever Marching Boot Camp, an event designed to promote and encourage the principals of marching movement.

36 marching members and staff took part in the pilot event on December 2nd, led through a series of workshops, group challenges and games by a team of four experienced staff members, who were on hand to share experiences and encourage a more rounded approach to marching movement.

The Drum Corps Netherlands Championships will be held in the FC Dordrecht stadium the next three years. DCN President Kees Bourquin and FC Dordrecht President Ad Heijsman signed a multi-year contract last Friday during a press conference at the stadium.

The 37th Kingswood Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps are pleased to announce their return to the British Youth Bands Association circuit as our main competing activity for 2007. As part of the corps development plans in 2006, we have been planning to return to BYBA for the 2007 season.

The Blue Barons, 1985 DCUK Champions, are hosting a reunion for all its past members from its inception in 1979 until its folding in 1987.

The venue is the Langside Halls on the 28th December at 19.30.

We have the Brass Monkeys performing on the night. All ex members and parents are welcome to come along and join in the fun, all night long.
