History in Europe was made over the weekend as Senior Officials from the leading Marching Band and Drum Corps Organisations met in Brussels to set the stage for a more unified working environment going forwards that will provide members of all organisations experiences that they will covet for years to come.

The 2006 BYBA Individuals & Ensembles Competition was blessed with not only a 10 year record entry level, but also with an extremely appreciative and enthusiastic audience for all sections.

The event, which took place on Saturday 18th November saw over 70 competitors showcase their immense talents and anyone who attended this show would agree that it was extremely entertaining and exciting.

37th Kingswood have announced their 2007 show which seeks to explore a range of movements in modern art, using modern music to represent the emotions, moods and ideas behind the art and taking visual elements of the paintings themselves onto the field.

For each movement they have selected a famous image as their inspiration and have selected music from a variety of composers with distinctive styles which parallel the different styles of art they are presenting: Expressionism - Impressionism - Abstraction - Cubism.
