 At the recent meeting of the DCUK Board of Trustees, which was extremely well attended by a wide cross-section of Drum Corps and Winterguard representatives, it was agreed that a proposal that had been presented by the WGUK Board would be put to the membership for consideration.

DCUK is recruiting volunteers to work at this year’s finals day.
The event will be held this year at Burton Albion FC on Saturday 30th September. Each year a team of volunteers help stage the event and ensure everything runs smoothly for those taking part. A wide variety of roles are required from ticket sales and corps reception to security and gate checks. DCUK has staged a finals championship since 1980 but it still takes a huge effort to run and manage such a big event.

 Further details have now been finalised for CONCORD’s ground-breaking tour of Malta this coming October. As this will be the first-ever visit of a drum and bugle corps to the historic Mediterranean island, CONCORD are working very hard to ensure a memorable experience for both the corps and its audiences. The event is a major international week-long Historic Cities Festival with a major event within that being the Valetta Military Tattoo.
