InCorps has announced a partnership with Vic Firth Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of drumsticks and mallets. Located in Dedham - Massachusetts (USA), Vic Firth is well known in the popmusic, concertmusic, drum corps, marchingbands and indoor drumlines.
"Every year we set ourselves new goals at InCorps", Erwin van Gemert of InCorps said. "One of those goals is to create the perfect foundation with strong partners to look into the future. The draw for the DCE Championships prelims will take place on Saturday 24th June. Lots will be drawn to determine the order within the various groups, three months before the spectacular event in Rotterdam.
The draw for the Prelims will be held from 1:00 pm onwards in Sparta Rotterdam's press room at 'The Castle'. Those interested in joining us will be warmly welcomed from 12.45 pm. Those unable to make it to Rotterdam, will be able to watch it all 'live' via the Internet. A webcam will record the draw and send an image to the DCE web server every 30 seconds.

Sunday the 4th of June, time for the championship of Hamont, were we had to defend our title! The members collected at the club house at half past 11. The trip took 90 minutes. When the corps arrived they were aloud to relax for an hour before they have to present themselves. At six o’clock it was showtime! Everybody wanted to have a good time! You saw that on the members’ faces.
The sound of the show went was good. The drill suffered a little because the field (a market square) was smaller then a football field, but the members did a good job and had some fun! The show went very well!

Ticket sales for the DCE Championships in Rotterdam on 23rd September are going extremely well, with tickets for the centre section of the stand selling particularly quickly. A month after the pre-sale began, most seats in the centre section have been sold already.
Those wanting to be guaranteed of a good place during the Championships will have to order their tickets quickly. However, as not all ordered tickets have been paid for, tickets from unpaid orders may well be made available again.

Showband USA of Hellemmes-Lille, France, is pleased to welcome Don Peterson, the director of the Brigham Young University Marching Band of Utah.
Don Peterson will be travelling in Europe for several weeks and will arrive in France on June 13, 2006. He will remain there with his wife until June 17, 2006. During the four days with the program, Don will cover instruction methods, consulting and group management as well as a visit to northern France and Belgium. Remember that Showband USA has been in partnership with the marching band of BYU for almost 2 years. This partnership made it possible for Showband USA to acquire many DVD and video cassettes as well as counseling on the design of a musical topic.
