100 Years Of La Valiente Show & Marchng Band Print

During the weekend of Saturday 24 and Sunday June 25, our friends La Valiante de Saint Quentin in the department of Aisne will celebrate the one hundredth birthday of their group! For this exceptional occasion, they have prepared such exceptional spectacles as the participation of the top European marching bands and an exhibition of America's GLASSMEN Drum and Bugle Corps of Toledo, Ohio.

All this in Saint Quentin in June to enjoy a birthday celebrated with class by a French group which brings it's fame everywhere where it goes!

Millenium Marching Band To Become First Italian Drum Corps Print

The Italian Millennium Marching Band from Verdello will be transformed to a drum & bugle corps. Next October, Millenium will become the very first drum & bugle corps of Italy. This has been confirmed by Assistent Director Cristian Barbarino to Drum Corps Europe.

This year, Millennium will still be a marching band. During the performances at WAMSB in Korea later this year, the group will already try the new drum & bugle corps formation. Millennium Drum & Bugle Corps consists of 20 horns, 15 drums, 8 guard, and 2 Drum Majors.

Southwest Union, DIO Enter 2006 DCE Championships Print

Southwest Union Drum & Bugle Corps and DIO Drum & Bugle Corps will enter the DCE Championships 2006. Due to internal situations, two corps had to cancel their registration. Southwest Union and DIO were on the waiting list, and they accepted the invitation from DCE to enter the Championships.

DCG Starts 2006 Season On May 13th Print

The afternoon will feature and individual & ensemble competition followed by an evening indoor contest.

On May 13th the prelude to the season takes place. Soloists place themselves and small ensembles in front of the jury in the afternoon, before the entire corps shows their music programs for the first time in the evening "in competition".
