The schedule for the 2006 season has been amended, from seven shows to five plus Finals.

The first show of the season, due to be held at Grantham on June 4th, has unfortunately been cancelled. Due to circumstances beyond DCUK’s control the Grantham venue is no longer available. Due to the short notice and the logistical and financial difficulties that would be faced, the difficult decision has been taken to cancel the Grantham show.

The first show of the season will therefore become Warrington, on 18th June.

The DCE Competition Manual has been upgraded from version 6.0 to version 6.1. The new manual is available as a PDF file and can be dowloaded free of charge from this website.

In the new manual, a few typing errors that might cause confusion have been fixed (in the 'contest rules' section on page 4). Other sections in the manual (PDF) have not changed.

I regret to announce that Southern Aurora have withdrawn from competition for the foreseeable future.

After a series of set backs in the past two months, it has become clear that the show we had written cannot be performed by the members we have. Whilst we could have pushed the members to a level of performance, the members have made it clear that they are not enjoying the show, and so would not enjoy the competitive season.
