The Italian Millennium Marching Band from Verdello will be transformed to a drum & bugle corps. Next October, Millenium will become the very first drum & bugle corps of Italy. This has been confirmed by Assistent Director Cristian Barbarino to Drum Corps Europe.

This year, Millennium will still be a marching band. During the performances at WAMSB in Korea later this year, the group will already try the new drum & bugle corps formation. Millennium Drum & Bugle Corps consists of 20 horns, 15 drums, 8 guard, and 2 Drum Majors.

Millennium has also announced their new musical program for 2006. The program is called 'The Eternal Cyrano', inspired by the popular play by Edmond Rostand. The show is a modern interpretation of the original story of 'Cyrano de Bergerac', mighty swordsman and brilliant poet who lived in France during the 17th Century, notorious for his long nose.
