This year, the DCE Championships will once again be held in the Sparta Rotterdam stadium. Both Drum Corps Europe and Sparta were happy with the way the event turned out in 2005 and have therefore decided to collaborate again.

"We were extremely satisfied with the result last year", says Sparta's Commercial Manager, Charles van der Steene. "We think it's a tremendous event, which also promotes the Sparta stadium. There was also a lot of interest shown; even our own players, who had no idea of what it was all about, stood watching from the sides."

Drum Corps Europe are also pleased to be returning to 'The Castle'. "The stadium has a great ambiance", explains the Chairman, Marcel Matthijsse. "Though it has a large capacity, the stands are very close to the field."
