Kilties March 25-26 Camp Report Print
Written by Kilties website

What is the only word in the English language that rhymes with “Kiltie”?... It’s guilty. Yours truly is guilty on 2 counts; not reviewing the Kiltie appearances in three St. Patrick’s Day parades March 11-12, and missing the Saturday portion of the last Kiltie Kamp. The first sin will be rectified shortly, albeit briefly. The second sin occurred because of the ski trip to Utah that Moon Eyes (a.k.a. Mr. Kiltie) and I used to celebrate our eligibility for membership into the AARP. The slopes of Park City were driven to near chaos when Moon decided to don his “Packer Kiltie” outfit for the Saturday ski. Nearly every female on the mountain had a picture taken with Moon. One told me that it was going on her bedroom wall next to “Naked Cowboy” which makes sense… Moon was indeed skiing true! But I digress.

As I said earlier, the Mighty Kilties appeared in both the Downtown Milwaukee and the West Allis Saint Patrick’s Day parades on Saturday March 11. We were great, and we made the “News at 10” on at least two different channels! We also appeared in the big South Side Chicago Saint Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday March 12. The bus ride was comfortable and fun, and once again we were great! How’s that for a brief review?!
