What a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon in SoCal - reaquainting yourself with the sounds of the Kingsmen. I promised my 10-year-old daughter that we'd have a fun time and hear some great music - so after lunch at Portillo's (a transplanted hot-dog/Italian Beef joint from back home in the Chicago area), we headed-off to Western High School for this weekend's rehearsal of the Kingsmen Alumni corps, who are rumored to be performing this summer at one of the DCI shows in SoCal ...... then during the DCI Championship series in 2007, when DCI comes to Pasadena.

Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay to see them on the field. Perhaps next time.
