The Austin Stars Performing Arts Association (ASPAA) of Austin, Texas is forming a brass ensemble that will begin rehearsals during the Summer of 2006. The group will perform at local events, concerts and private gigs in Austin and the surrounding region. The project to field an all-age drum & bugle corps has been moved ahead one year. The corps will begin rehearsals in the Fall of 2007 and compete for the first time in the Summer of 2008. More details about rehearsal dates, performances and membership requirements in the Austin Stars Brass will be announced soon.
