After learning that a fellow CorpsVets member had received the highest ranking available in the Boy Scouts organization, we thought it appropriate to acknowledge this achievement. Only 2 percent of Boy Scouts that apply for Eagle Scout rank achieve it. Receiving this honor is not only prestigious within the Boy Scout affiliation, but will carry with Ian into college, community service, and career.

Ian will join the ranks of other Eagle Scouts such as Gerald Ford, 38th President of the U.S., James Lovell - Astronaut, Ellison Onizuka, Challenger Astronaut, Steven Spielberg, Film Director/Producer, J. Willard Marriott, Jr., President, Marriott Corporation, and William C. DeVries, M.D., who transplanted first artificial heart.
