For the first time in 18 years, the town’s Independence Day parade next month will feature 10 drum and bugle corps, youth groups, politicians and civic, fraternal, veterans and service organizations. “I want a parade to add to the town’s 35th annual Independence Day celebration this year, and it appears that we’re well on our way due to the hard work of a parade committee working with the Braintree Friends of the 4th Committee,” Mayor Joseph Sullivan said.
