Despite the vandalism of thousands of dollars worth of equipment, the Rochester Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps continues its community outreach in initiating a year long co-fundraiser with AIDS Rochester.

The Rochester Crusaders will host, “GAY BINGO” the first Sunday of every month and will donate a good portion of the proceeds to AIDS Rochester. These evenings filled with fun and entertainment will be held at:

Gates Center Bingo- Westmar Plaza – 2145 Buffalo Road – Gates, New York at 7pm. STARTING ON JUNE 1ST. *THE PRESS IS INVITED AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE FIRST EVENING.*

“It’s better than grandma’s BINGO!” Corps director Mike Linton states.

The Rochester Crusaders stand firm with the beliefs of AIDS Rochester in being “dedicated to a world without HIV”. The Rochester Crusaders hope to be able to donate over $25,000.00 to AIDS Rochester over the next year from hosting these monthly events.

For further BINGO information and directions the public can call the Crusader Hotline at 585.251.7117 or view the Rochester Crusaders website - www.rochestercrusaders.org.

“AIDS Rochester, Inc. (ARI)” leads a compassionate community effort within the eight county Finger Lakes region providing a continuum of programs and services including education, prevention, advocacy and support services for people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS.

“The Rochester Crusaders” The history rich Rochester Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps is a non-profit musical, visual and educational organization, that provides quality instruction that focuses on a musical and visual program that is both artistically and technically challenging. While being a competitive unit which travels all over the Northeast, we strive to bring the Rochester community closer to the unique activity of Drum and Bugle Corps, which we perceive as an art form. The Crusaders also strive to keep the spirit of competition and the camaraderie throughout the Drum Corps community. The Rochester Crusaders give back to the community annually with food, toy drives, concerts, and many other outreach programs.
