 Yamaha Corporation of America, Band and Orchestral division, is pleased to announce its new partnership with the Atlanta CorpsVets Drum & Bugle Corps. The CorpsVets recently purchased an entire outfit of battery percussion in Silky Silver including MTS-Snare Drums, 8200 Series Multi-toms and Bass drums along with stadium hardware and carriers. With this purchase, the CorpsVets join the fast-growing ranks of drum corps nationwide, which use Yamaha percussion exclusively.
Founded in 1997, the CorpsVets are one of only two drum and bugle corps in the entire state of Georgia. Competing in regional and national DCA (Drum Corps Associates) shows before large audiences and a panel of judges, the CorpsVets also participate in local community parades, standstill concerts, exhibitions at DCI (Drum Corps International) competitions and host educational clinics for local high school students.
