 Tired but fulfilled Beatrix’ returned home yesterday after an intense but unforgettable weekend. Having taken first place at the DCN contest in Apeldoorn as well as having marched an extremely successful street parade in the warm and sunny Calais, France, the members have the right to be very satisfied. This weekend was what drumcorps stands for: rehearsals in tough conditions, long bus drives and a saturated sense of fulfillment, during and after the performance. The perfect way to get used to the upcoming USA Tour, which will commence in less than three weeks! Let’s hope those rain suits won’t be necessary out there.
