London Mayor launches Marching Youth Music Month |

 Charismatic London Mayor Boris Johnson has supported the UK activity by helping to launch National Marching Youth Music Month. Arranged by the British Federation of Youth Marching Band Organisations to raise the profile of the activity, Mr Johnson was joined by members of three bands for the recent City Hall photo call. Romford Drum and Trumpet Corps and Essex Marching Corps were joined by London's Kinetika Bloco for the launch.
When The Mayor appeared it was a bit of a press scrum with Press Agency photographers keen to get good shots. These will hopefully appear in the national media in the next few weeks. Our own Andy Sgruett was also there with his camera working overtime, so there will be additional photos available soon.
