City Of Rockford Declares Phantom Regiment Week |

 At the city council meeting on Monday August 18th, 2008, Executive Director Rick Valenzuela, along with Board President Tim Farrell and Program Director Dan Farrell, received a proclamation from the Mayor of Rockford, Larry Morrissey declaring the week of August 18th to be Phantom Regiment Week.
After receiving another standing ovation, this time from the entire city council and everyone in attendance, Rick Valenzuela accepted the proclamation on behalf of the entire organization and said a few words about how proud the corps is to represent the City of Rockford.
