 DCA is pleased to provide the schedule for the 2008 DCA I&E/Mini Corps Competition this Friday night, August 29th at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center beginning at 5:30PM. This kicks off Championship Weekend and gives the opportunity for the performers to meet and greet old friends, renew rivalries and simply have a great time. Venues will be at both the Riverside Convention Center and the Clarion Hotel just across the street. Main Street will be closed to traffic creating a giant block party with food and beverage available. Come on in early for the biggest party in drum corps. Oh and don't forget to catch some great individual talent as well as those GREAT Mini Corps with routines that will knock your socks off. At the conclusion of the Mini Corps Competition, the great Hall of Famer, Ken Norman will conduct the massed units in his arrangement of the Kiltie's great "Auld Lang Syne" - a fitting tribute to DCA's respect to the history of drum corps and still looking forward to its bright future.
