Age-Outs Open Up Timpani And Battery Percussionist Slots |

 Highly skilled timpani players are sought to audition for the Cadets’ Front Ensemble during the corps’ first camp in November. The Cadets are also encouraging experienced percussionists to audition within the battery section due to a large number of 2008 age-outs.
“The corps lost a considerable number of members in the battery due to age-outs,” said Cadets Assistant Director Justin Heimbecker. “We are left with six snare vacancies and three in both the tenor and basses.”
