Hip Pickles Represent USA In Austria Night Of Percussion Print

The Hip Pickles will be performing in concert on Monday January 12, 2009 at the Orpheum Theater in Graz, Austria. Led by Chet Doboe, The Hip Pickles will be performing their Zap Boom Bam production including Percussionists Gary Gonzalez, Anthony Dilig and John Doboe.

The annual “NIGHT OF PERCUSSION” is produced by Percussionist Günter Meinhart and Studio Percussion Graz and includes an international line up of percussionists.

Starting at 7:30 pm, the 2009 “Night Of Percussion” will open with the SPS All Stars & Studio Brass Graz, followed by Ismael Barrios & Slivio De Cuba & Studio Percussion Graz (Venezuela/Cuba/Austria). The celebration of rhythm continues with Perku-Va (Spain) followed by Mol Percussion Orchestra (Belgium). And finally the Hip Pickles Drum Band will take the stage and after a 50 minute set will be joined by all the percussionists in a finale World Percussion piece written by Chet Doboe called Wally’s World.
