Memphis Sound (now from Grand Prairie, TX) is about to embark on their final season under the original corps name. 2010 Season will see the corps in new uniforms, a new name, and the same traditions that made Memphis Sound the perennial Finalist in their division. The corps has held rehearsals in both Memphis, TN and the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area for the 2009 season and are looking a few more recruits to round out the ranks. 2 Trumpets (one lead and one 3rd position) 2 Mellophones (one lead and one 2nd) 2 Baritones (one lead and one Euph) 1 Tuba 2 Auxiliary percussion (1 rack, 1 timpani) 3 Colorguard 1 Assistant Drum Major (Backfield Conductor) Memphis Sound won the World Championships in 2007 for their division, and made the inaugural Open Class finals in 2008. Memphis Sound has been a finalist in their division every year since 2004.
