 As I sit here in a school cafeteria in Stanford, Illinois I find myself reflecting on the events of the last 24 hours, and dealing with a flurry of emotions. Although I am still a little overwhelmed, I am truly thankful that everyone in the GLASSMEN Family is safe and okay.
Yesterday morning our volunteer bus was involved in an accident injuring the driver, and requiring three other adult volunteers to be taken to the hospital. Thankfully all three are well, have been released from the hospital, and are back with the corps. Although our driver sustained serious injuries to his ribs and knee, he too has been released and is heading home for the remainder of the tour. Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with him as he heals and works to get himself back to normal.
