DCE Championships To Return To Kerkrade In 2010 Print
Written by Dennis Naaktgeboren, PR Manager, Drum Corps Europe
Thursday, 19 November 2009
Next year's European DCE Championships will take place in the Parkstad Limburg Stadium in Kerkrade. Drum Corps Europe has entered into a provisional agreement for a new commitment with Roda JC.

In a review last Friday, both football club Roda JC and DCE were extremely positive about the collaboration. A survey among the audience demonstrated equal levels of enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the great majority of corps are satisfied with the excellent accommodation. Therefore, DCE has decided to hold the European Championships in Kerkrade for the third consecutive year.

So put 'Kerkrade' in your diary for Saturday 25th September 2010. Roda JC will reserve the date with the KNVB (the Dutch football association), so that the football club will not have to play at home that day. What's more, Roda and DCE want to intensify their cooperation in order to try to attract more of the local public to drum corps. A review with the Kerkrade council is also on the agenda.
