It has been said that “music makes the world go round,” and that is partly true for two members of Summit High School’s Marching Band. Though they won’t be going around the world, juniors Alexis Ramirez and Matthew Coulson will be traveling around the country touring with the Velvet Knights National Drum and Bugle Corps. The Velvet Knights, a group which marches nationally and competitively, consists of drums, auxiliary, color guard, and forward facing brass. Read the rest of the article here. |
