More Joint Performances From DCUK Class "A" Corps In 2006 |

 Undoubtedly one of the highlights of last year's Finals was the massed Class "A" drum-lines leading on the Olympic Retreat. CONCORD and PHOENIX are, this year, planning to go one better with joint performances by both their percussion AND brass lines.
CONCORD will supply the arrangements for a catchy "street-beat" and PHOENIX will provide brass scores for a marching brass & drums piece. The two corps will prepare the components separately at their own rehearsals and get together at DCUK shows to put the two units together (should be worth a visit to the car-park or warm-up areas during intervals). The aim is to put the performances out in public as soon as possible, so watch out for spectacles right through the year.
