NanciD
??????????????????????????? Joe played baritone, not rifle. Perhaps this gent commuted from the Albany area to a city a bit west of there? Ray Didn't it sound like he was guessing Jumpin' Joe? And now you've lost me here with this "Albany area" talk. Now, I have a headache.
ajlisko
I didn't say that... I just said, "Most if not all of us.... knew him or knew of him." My apologies ... I thought you said "knew him here", as a poster on DCP ... Was the corps in the picture from NY? :-)

Was the corps in the picture from NY? :-) No need for apologies. And now that you mention it... I think he has posted on DCP before, but, I can't think of when or where, off the top of my head. Yes, it was a corps from NY.

I was leaning toward Alan Smythe ( I'men and Crusaders) but you say he has posted on DCP in the past. So I guess it ain't him either. Back to the confusion. I don't really know what corps that uniform the "Guess Who" guy is wearing, but I was thinking of either the Berkshire Marauders or Empire State Grenidiers, the two corps that "Merged" to form the Interstatesmen. 2B or not 2B
SO! What we know for sure is: That He was an older guy, that is in a Hall of Fame, and was from New York State, and (Clearly) carried a Rifle, and it is not the Interstatesmen. Is that all Correct, and did I miss anything? Edited April 30, 2012 by 2B or not 2B

Is that all Correct, and did I miss anything? It was a NY state Corps and the pic is from 1958. (This is a Tribute feature)
