NanciD
Please Read Before You PostIf you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter)If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint. When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit...C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE??Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere. Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to:The *Guess Who* MailboxThanx in advance! All that said and out of the way..Guess Who the drummer closest to the camera # 523 ?https://www.flickr.com/photos/30432143@N00/14785690755/in/set-72157601444249093 Edited July 30, 2014 by NanciD
ironlips
Good one! I first thought about that outstanding cat fom BS (Sac's drummers did have black tops once, no?), but on further review there seem to be at least 4 and perhaps 5 snares here. He was present in the "3 snare, one tenor, 2 rudi-bass" era. So, not him and not Sac...probably. The photo screams "1960s", however. Help a brother out here. rayfallon
>>Help a brother out here.<< ... not a Jr. Corps ... and someone you used to compete against ... :-) How do you know all this "stuff"? You have to be like a Drum Corps God, or something! I used to think I was pretty good with drum corps trivia - now I have trouble naming the corps I used to work with! Remind me to buy you a root beer the next time I see you - pick your brain. You know more than Dorritie for Crap's sake, and he has like a PhD from Oxford in Drum Corps! No wonder I got sent to Texas...

rayfallon
BTW, is anyone (here) going to Kingston NY Saturday? I'm going to build a playground in Island Park NY on Friday (my last JetBlue/KaBoom Playground build for old-times' sake) and I'm hoping my wife will be okay with driving out to Kingston from Boston with me. Like to see how the Senior thing is shaking out - see if I can do Hurcs any good, or see if they know who the #### I am anyway. Just wondering... Back to deciphering the drum corps picture version of the Dead Sea Scrolls trying to figure out which mid-60s snare drummer is which. BTW I think it's the CT Yankees, and Jimmy Duggan Sr.

gsksun4
>>Help a brother out here.<< ... not a Jr. Corps ... and someone you used to compete against ... :-) Then it might be a corps from the Northeastern Circuit? I don't recall these uniforms.
