JG was the Godfather to youngsters like Grass and Edney. Few buglers in drum corps today play with that kind of gusto. Quote

A really great horn, but he would never play a solo; he would play in duets, trios, etc., but never solo. It was a personal thing. OK, on to #4. Joe ran a chain of fabric stores for his father-in-law and **** made deliveries ... Joe and **** worked at Bobby Findley's used car lot Victory Auto Sales ... but I don't recall any Music Store ... :-) Quote
