At very least i dont see the harm in adding it. Use whichever one you want.

I agree -- many (most) of the emoticons on the list are rarely used. I'm sure that would not be case with :jimlad:. He's spread to forums all over the net!

We've been griping to get rid of the stupid part of this one 
for years to no avail. I don't know if ol jimlad will get a space here on DCP

sorry all, I really can't let you all continue on false hopes with this one.
In the grand scheme this is simply not on the list of things to do - not even being discussed as an option at the moment with everything else going on in the back room.
Maybe when we get to the point where we revise our emoticon library, but for the moment as Jeff noted we have something similar in stock , we do have 
- and of course you can continue to imbed it as you have been doing.
but for now, jimlad be scuttled, matey!
