BAC to announce tomorrow.

BAC just announced their 2012 named 'Titan' Below are some of the selections

Pines of Rome (Respighi)
War Dance from Belkis Queen of Sheba (Respighi)
Lacrimosa from Requiem for a Freind (Preisner)
Symphone #1 (Titan) (Mahler)

Sounds like a good match for BAC. I think Cavaliers played 'Belkis' in 1994. Great peice. I assume they will put their own spin on 'Pines' just like they did last year with 'Le Miz' and '1812. It's great to see more of a stronger identity developing from BAC the past several years. With a new arranger for 2012 it should be interesting.

The e-mail I received 80 stated and I quote "As a Crusader Club member, you are receiving this information the day before we announce it to the public. Please keep the contents of this email private until we announce tomorrow.
Although the details are still being finalized, the design team has settled on source music from (but not limited to) the following selections:"

YES!!!! Mahler in drum corps! I've been fantasizing about Mahler's 1st being done for a long time.

I hope they write a more than decent arrangement of it.

Really? Why would people downrate that? My reputation has gone from 100 to 36 in the past week and I haven't posted anything.
