perc2100
If it is a wedding show, there was a marching band here in Illinois in the early 80's that featured a wedding theme. Complete with a bride and groom walking down the aisle (50 yardline). The groom had a ball and chain attached to his leg(literally) as well. Tim K
If by old, you mean something you’ve done before, I’d love to see 85’s Festive Overture complete with the uniform change, “Hopak” from “Gayne”, or “Bottle Dance” with “Fiddler on the Roof” music again. Anything you did from “Phantom of the Opera” would also work. As for new, I have no idea. I hope borrowed and blue doesn’t mean borrowed from competitors Blue Stars or Blue Knights or your neighbors and rivals Blue Devils. I like what they do, but I enjoy what SCV has done, especially in the 70’s and 80’s. I saw other posts that mentioned “Marriage of Figaro” and “Lohengrin.” These would be great choices too, and something SCV could do well, though would SCV’s Elsa match Phantom’s unless that’s what is being borrowed. mingusmonk
Pretty sure they started this theme when they Borrowed an Old, Blue horn staff. Edited December 13, 2011 by mingusmonk

FHdork
Yes - it's a wedding show, but they're marrying the Blue Devils...hence the 'blue' part - It comes from the 'if you can't beat them, join them (ie: marry them...)' adage...
