Hello,

My name is Matthew. I have auditioned for the Cavaliers and they have given me a position to march for the 2012 season. This is my age-out year for DCI. I am currently a junior at Indiana University of Pennsylvania studying music education with a concentration on euphonium. I'm studying with Dr. Zach Collins. I have marched 3 years with the IUP Marching Band under the direction of Dr. David Martynuik. My third year with them I was the section leader for the Barituba section. I marched a season with the Raiders Drum and Bugle Corps in 2010. I am in need of some assistance with the financial obligation to the Cavaliers. Anything will help and be greatly appreciated. It would mean the world to me to be able to march with the Cavaliers. It has been a big dream since 2008 when a friend of mine and my sister marched. Having watched their performances at different DCI shows, it always puts a smile on my face. Seeing the Cavaliers perform at finals in 2010 was just a jaw dropping moment. I wish to give someone else the experience I had while watching these performances.
