Following on from the all star corps topic.

What would you're greatest ever corps be...

Percussion - Phantom Regiment 2010
Brass - Phantom Regiment 1996
Guard - Blue Devils 2010
Visual - Cadets 2011

I guess what I'm asking is which Corps do you think were the best ever in Percussion, Brass, Guard & Visual and what year?

These are my two favorite corps. I marched with one, and the other made me want to march. I am a fan of all corps in the activity for one reason or another, but these are my favorites.

I find it interesting in the gap between early 90's Star of Indiana and recent Crown BRASS lines but I would agree these were at the top of the game.

I find it interesting that according the posters above apparently no corps of any significance whatsoever existed prior to 1990.

Posts like yours make me go all

Could it be that some people prefer corps post 1990?

I, for one, like many corps prior to the 1990s. 88 Scouts, early-mid 80s Cadets, late 70s BD, early 80s Phantom, etc.

Could it be that not everybody likes the same kind of drum corps you do? GASP!! Say it aint so!
